The Moon Deck

Oracle Cards

Review

Today I am going to talk to you about the wonderful The Moon Deck, the oracle deck that I fell utterly in love with as soon as it was revealed on Instagram. The Moon Deck is designed by yogini and holistic healer Aarona Lea Pichinson, and illustrated by the incredibly talented artist and natural textile dyer Andrea Keh. Aarona operates in magical West Coast’s Los Angeles, while Andrea in New York: a perfect mix of the twin souls of the United States.

The Moon Deck is sold exclusively on its dedicated website, it comes in a variety of stunning boxes and pouches, and reaches your doorstep straight from the USA. International delivery costs are a little steep, but you receive a welcome discount when you subscribe to the Newsletter, and most of all: this oracle deck is seriously worth every dollar!

As described on the info card that starts off the deck, The Moon Deck is an intuitive oracle set to stoke the powers of intention and ritual. It includes 44 illustrated cards and guidebook, carrying potent mantras, illustrations, and rituals. Inspired by the cyclical beauty of the moon, this healing oracle set shares insights on growth, purpose, intuition, practice, and creativity. The cards can be used both as a daily tool for meditation and reflection, and as tarot inspired spreads for oracle guidance.

The messages assigned to each card are powerful and rich in significance, and the proposed exercises and rituals are very effective and accurately researched across different cultures and traditions. But what I love the most about this marvellous Moon Deck are its illustrations: their warm, clean, wonderfully intimate and cosy style no matter which card you pick. The cards portray moon inspired female figures of all ages and backgrounds, based on the values of sisterhood, inner strength, self love, and kindness. Ancestral calls that resonate in the present moment.

Here below you will find some of my favourite cards, first among them all the “Integrate” card, which – to me – portrays an ancient Priestess of the Moon immersed in the powerful waters of Avalon… I have added to the circle a pebble that I picked up on La Push beach in the remote Washington State’s Pacific Northwest Olympic Peninsula, a moonstone received with my beloved Witch Casket from the UK, and a Native American shamanic smudge fan that I bough at the legendary Cedar Mountain Drums in Portland, Oregon. This oracle deck calls me to faraway lands.

Over to you to discover this magnificent oracle deck, which I review with top marks. I leave you with this little poem which I found hidden in the box:

May we walk

with trust and love

May we inspire and

be inspired by one another

May we celebrate the

many shades of

our shared cycles
